Alejandro M. Cura is a partner in the firm’s Miami office. Mr. Cura primarily focuses his practice on State and Federal Civil Litigation in the areas of personal injury, vehicle / trucking negligence, and commercial litigation. Mr. Cura has also defended various manufacturers and retailers of products including automobiles, maritime vessels, engines, tires, vehicle restraint and occupant protection systems, construction tools, and industrial machines. Mr. Cura is a Martindale-Hubbell AV-rated Preeminent attorney. He was also named one of Florida’s top “Rising Stars” by Super Lawyers Magazine, which is awarded to less than 2.5% of the attorneys in the state. Mr. Cura has been recognized as 2021-2025 ‘Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch’ – Commercial Litigation and Product Liability Litigation - Defendants. In 2024, Mr. Cura was selected by the Miami-Dade Bar Young Lawyers Section as a “40 Under 40 Award” recipient.
Mr. Cura was admitted to practice law in the State of Florida in 2011. He received his Juris Doctorate from Florida International University College of Law. While in law school, he served as a student-associate with the FIU Carlos A. Costa Immigration and Human Rights Clinic, where he represented underprivileged individuals in immigration removal proceedings and civil wage theft claims. Mr. Cura also interned with the 11th Judicial Circuit Court Family Law Division.
Mr. Cura graduated from Loyola University New Orleans where he was the co-founding member of the Cuban-American Undergraduate Student Association as well as a volunteer for the Habitat for Humanity St. Bernard Parish Project, a Hurricane Katrina relief effort.
Mr. Cura is a member of the Florida Bar and licensed to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida. Mr. Cura is fluent in both English and Spanish.
