Alexis M. Costello is an associate in the firm’s Fort Myers office. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from University of Central Florida in Legal Studies. Following her undergraduate studies, Costello obtained her Juris Doctorate Degree from Stetson University College of Law, where she was the marketing editor for Stetson Law Review, a teaching assistant for legal research and writing, and a research assistant for white collar crime issues. While in law school, she served as a judicial intern for Judge Jack Day of the Sixth Judicial Circuit Civil Appellate Division. Additionally, Costello interned at the Office of the State Attorney for the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Conviction Review Unit, where she conducted initial screenings of prior convictions to identify plausible claims of innocence. During her final semester of law school, Costello was a law clerk for a boutique law firm focusing on Vehicle Negligence. Upon graduation, the Honors, Awards, and Financial Aid Committee selected her for the Carol R. Samuels Unsung Hero National Association of Women Lawyers Outstanding Student Leadership Award.
