Amanda Lopez-Cardet is an associate in the firm’s Miami office where she focuses on a broad spectrum of business litigation and transactional matters.
Ms. Lopez-Cardet is a proud double Cane, having obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Miami, where she graduated summa cum laude and was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. Ms. Lopez-Cardet earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami School of Law, where she graduated cum laude and was awarded the Dean’s Merit Scholarship, a full merit-based academic scholarship.
While in law school, Ms. Lopez-Cardet was an Executive Editor to the University of Miami Law Review. Ms. Lopez-Cardet was also a member of the University of Miami Moot Court Board and the President of the Rasco Chapter of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. Ms. Lopez-Cardet also earned several honors and distinctions in the classroom, including the Director’s Book Award for Excellence in the Litigation Skills Program and the Dean’s Certificate of Achievement Award in Civil Procedure I.
Prior to joining CSK, Ms. Lopez-Cardet interned for the Honorable Judge Kathleen M. Williams, a Judge in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and clerked for several commercial and class action litigation firms in Miami. In her free time, Ms. Lopez-Cardet enjoys traveling, attending concerts, and spending time with friends and family.
