She has been a member in good standing of the Florida Bar since 2013 and the US District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts since 2014 and 2020 (respectively).

Andrea has practiced law specializing in insurance defense litigation. Prior to entering the field of insurance litigation, Andrea interned as a judicial clerk in the Felony Division of Miami-Dade County. She worked as a legal intern representing indigent minors in family court and immigration proceedings. She was assistant to the Director of the Trial Advocacy Program at FIU College of Law. Andrea was also a member and editor for FIU Law Review. She was a staff member of a U.S. senatorial campaign in 2010. She was a speaker at the 2010 Southeastern Writing Center Association Conference where she presented her theory and method of teaching writing organization to second-language college students. She was first published during her second year of law school in a two-part series on the intricacies of discovery in complex international litigation. She was subsequently published in FIU Law Review for her extensive research on the legality of red-light-camera programs.

In 2014, Andrea undertook a voluminous caseload from various auto insurance carriers, defending against frivolous and fraudulent lawsuits exploiting Florida’s personal injury protection requirements by seeking policy limits of insured motorists.

Since 2015, Andrea has proudly defended some of the top property insurance carriers in the state of Florida and has gained specialized training in estimating software, residential construction, mold remediation, mitigation and restoration for both weather and non-weather related losses to residential properties, and law and ordinance compliance related to residential building codes.
