Cristina Valeria Hernandez is an Associate in the firm’s Miami office.  At CSK, Ms. Hernandez’s practice consists of nursing home and medical malpractice defense.

Ms. Hernandez completed her undergraduate studies at St. Thomas University with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice.  Upon completion of her undergraduate degree, Ms. Hernandez remained at St. Thomas University, to later receive her law degree at the law school.  Therein, she represented St. Thomas University School of Law in Moot Court Competitions throughout the nation.  In 2016, she was awarded the Best Brief Award at the American Bar Association, Law Student Division, National Appellate Advocacy Competition. Furthermore, Ms. Hernandez held several internship positions practicing various types of law, including, criminal defense, immigration and family law. Moreover, she earned the highest-grade award in Advanced Legal Research and Writing, while maintaining a spot on the Dean’s list for her academic performance.

Prior to joining CSK, Ms. Hernandez practiced in criminal, immigration and general civil litigation.  Ms. Hernandez is a member of the Florida Bar.  She is also admitted to practice law in federal court, in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.  Ms. Hernandez is fluent in Spanish.
