Ebony Cobb is an associate in the firm’s Orlando office. Her areas of practice are personal injury protection, general civil litigation, Insurance Defense Litigation, Vehicle negligence, SIU Insurance Fraud Defense, and Catastrophic and Personal Injury.
Ebony attended Florida State University where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Hospitality Management and a minor in English. During the summer of her senior year, Ebony studied abroad in Leysin, Switzerland and spent six weeks exploring Europe. After her undergraduate studies, Ebony worked as a manager at the Bellagio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Ebony later earned her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law. While in law school, Ms. Cobb was a member of the Trial Team, the Black Law Students Association, and the Law Association of Women. Ebony was also a legal intern for Gator TeamChild Juvenile Law Clinic where she helped expunge criminal records for juvenile clients.
Prior to joining Cole, Scott & Kissane, P.A., Ebony worked as an Assistant Public Defender for the Ninth Judicial Circuit in Osceola County, Florida. There, Ebony gained valuable experience handling a full range of cases from misdemeanors to violent and punishable by life felony cases. During her time as an Assistant Public Defender, she tried over 60 jury trials, including capital sexual battery, armed carjacking, and DUI manslaughter.
