James Pierre Rodriguez is an associate in the firm’s Orlando office. His practice focuses on the defense of civil litigation claims, including but not limited to premises liability and security negligence.
Originally from Brooklyn, New York, James later moved to Florida and obtained his undergraduate degree, with honors, from the University of Florida on a full-tuition scholarship. He then obtained his Juris Doctorate degree, cum laude, from Florida A & M College of Law. He is the first in his family to achieve both degrees. During law school, he was a board member of the Student Bar Association, serving on the Disciplinary Committee. James was also a part of the Hispanic American Law Student Association serving as the organization’s Treasurer and Interim-Vice President. James, being of Peruvian descent, is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Prior to joining Cole, Scott & Kissane, P.A., James gained a variety of experience working for a local probate and estate planning law firm. All of his previous jobs allowed James to gain experience in a wide variety of practice areas, providing him with a unique perspective for his current position at the firm.
