Kara S. Graham is a Partner in the firm’s Orlando office. Her primary practice areas include medical malpractice (wrongful death, misdiagnosis, failure to diagnose, failure to treat, negligence, mistakes in prescribing or administering medication, surgical errors, and pressure sores), pharmaceutical product liability, nursing home and assisted living facility neglect and abuse, catastrophic and personal injury, Florida Department of Health investigations, nursing malpractice, physician malpractice, and other general civil litigation.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Ms. Graham worked as a paralegal and law clerk for over a decade handling various claims in the workers’ compensation division of several statewide insurance defense firms. She also worked as a paralegal and law clerk for a Central Florida law firm handling medical malpractice matters for a statewide hospital system, as well as on behalf of physicians and nurses. During that time, she also handled nursing home negligence matters. Combined she has over 17 years of experience in Florida medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, and workers’ compensation defense litigation.
Ms. Graham obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from Florida A & M University College of Law in Orlando, Florida.
Ms. Graham has received recognition in the 2022 Edition of U.S News & World Report, The Best Lawyers in America in the practice area of Insurance Law.
