Lauren Kilgore is a partner in the firm’s Tampa office. Her areas of practice include general civil litigation, first party property claims, general liability, security negligence, personal injury, premise liability and professional liability.

Originally from Melbourne, Florida, Lauren earned her Bachelor of Science degree as a double major in International Affairs and Political Science, cum laude, from The Florida State University. She later earned her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law, where she received the William F. Blews Pro Bono Service Award. While attending Stetson University College of Law, she gained valuable courtroom experience as a Certified Legal Intern at the Office of the Public Defender for the Sixth Judicial Circuit.

Prior to joining Cole, Scott & Kissane, P.A., Lauren worked as an Assistant Public Defender for the Ninth Judicial Circuit in Orange County, where she took over 30 cases to trial.

Lauren enjoys spending time with her family and her two dogs, Dallas and Derby.
