Mr. Ferrer served in the Army as both an NCO and officer and earned the Ranger Tab. After law school, he joined the Navy Judge Advocate General’s Corps (JAGC). As a senior officer, Mr. Ferrer served as the Staff Judge Advocate (General Counsel) for the Naval Information Force Reserve and served on the staff of Admiral MacDonnell, Commander, Central Security Service, National Security Agency. He retired as a Commander from the Navy JAGC (Reserve) with over 28 years of military service, having served combat tours in both Iraq and Afghanistan. In civilian practice, Mr. Ferrer is a former tenured Assistant United States Attorney (AUSA-Criminal), having first prosecuted violent crimes and then complex white collar cases. He has been lead defense counsel for cases in administrative, military, state and federal forums and has a wealth of litigation and trial experience. In addition, Mr. Ferrer also possesses banking, finance and bank compliance experience, having served as Counsel for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and Director, Bank Compliance, USAA Federal Savings Bank.
