Lissette Gonzalez is a partner in the Miami office who concentrates her practice on appeals and litigation support. Lissette has appellate experience at the state and federal level in a wide-range of areas, including but not limited to construction, landlord-tenant, first-party and third-party property, association law, premises liability, medical malpractice, professional malpractice, liquor liability defense, workers’ compensation, slip and fall, nursing home healthcare, personal injury protection, general insurance defense, and family law.
Lissette earned her Juris Doctorate from St. Thomas University, School of Law in 2012, graduating cum laude. While in law school, she served as Executive Editor of the St. Thomas Law Review and was published in the Spring 2011 Edition of the St. Thomas Law Review, which article was chosen to participate in the 2010-2011 Scribes Law-Review-Award Competition.
Before joining the firm, Lissette practiced as an appellate attorney in the area of family law and was an active member of the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar, where she served on several committees and authored several articles for the Section’s publication.
