Maria Vera is a Partner in the firm’s Miami office. She has experience defending insurer bad faith litigation, civil rights claims, condominium cases, ADA claims, and Errors and Omissions cases, including claims brought against insurance brokers and agents. Ms. Vera focuses her law practice on the defense of attorneys, insurance agents, title agents, closing agents, appraisers, surveyors, accountants and real estate agents and other professionals who are sued for malpractice and professional negligence. She also represents a host of other companies and professionals in both litigation and transactional matters.

Ms. Vera attended Florida International University where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science, and received her Juris Doctor Degree from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law. While in law school, she served as Articles Editor of the Nova Southeastern Law Review.

Ms. Vera is admitted to practice before all county and circuit courts in the State of Florida and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
