Matthew J. Colgrove is an Associate Attorney in the firm’s Orlando office, where he practices in the area of Workers’ Compensation Defense.
Mr. Colgrove graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. Mr. Colgrove graduated cum laude from Florida A&M University College of Law. While at FAMU, Mr. Colgrove was on the Dean’s List and was an editor for the FAMU Law Review, where he published the note Will the Internet Have a Fast Lane? Verizon v. FCC and the Future of Net Neutrality.
Prior to joining Cole, Scott & Kissane, Mr. Colgrove represented survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual violence, and stalking for SafeHouse of Seminole. Prior to law school, he spent 10 years as a teacher and digital learning specialist with Seminole County Public Schools.
He is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts.
