Overview

Matthew White is an associate at the firm’s West Palm Beach office, focusing his practice in the areas of general commercial litigation and civil litigation, with an emphasis on construction litigation. Mr. White received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University and his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law, with a concentration in business law. He further distinguished himself in law school as an editorial board member of Stetson’s Business Law Review and Vice President of the Business Law Society. Mr. White is a William F. Blews Pro Bono Service Award Recipient and received the highest-grade designation in Federal Pre-Trial Practice.

After his first year in law school, Mr. White procured a summer internship at the United States District Court for The Southern District of Florida, under the guidance of the Honorable Judge Kenneth A. Marra, in West Palm Beach, Florida. Throughout his second year, he accrued additional legal experience by way of a year-long clerkship, focusing on commercial and construction litigation. During his third and final year of law school, he attained an externship at the United States District Court for The Middle District of Florida with the Honorable Judge Roberta Colton.

Before law school, Mr. White had the privilege of working for a high-end residential construction firm in Jupiter, Florida. He gained valuable managerial and technical experience in the industry, building for some of the most prominent communities in Palm Beach County, including homes located on Palm Beach Island, Jupiter Island, and his hometown, Jupiter. Being a native of Jupiter, Mr. White has extensive ties to South Florida and is passionate about representing local firms that benefit the people and the community.
