Melissa D. Crowley is a partner in the firm’s Orlando office. Her trial practice focuses primarily on the defense of civil litigation claims including premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, Dram Shop, negligent security, product defect, and wrongful death claims. Melissa is admitted to practice law in all Florida state courts as well as the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Melissa has tried, or assisted in trying, cases in a number of venues throughout the state during her time at the firm.
Prior to joining the firm, Melissa obtained her Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude, from the University of Florida with a major in Finance and minor in Entrepreneurship. She then went on to receive her Master of Business Administration, while working full-time for a major financial company. Subsequently, she earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida, where she also graduated cum laude.
Melissa was the recent recipient of the Golden Gavel award for trial excellence. She was one of six recipients nationwide. She is also approved to lecture on “How to Properly Evaluate a Personal Injury Claim,” a one credit continuing education course approved by the state of Florida.
