Michael Skiscim is a partner in the firm’s Orlando office. His areas of practice include business and commercial litigation, association law, medical compliance, employment law, and property and landlord-tenant disputes.
Mr. Skiscim earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of Colorado Boulder, a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Central Florida, and earned his law degree from St. Thomas University College of Law, where he was also an editor of the St. Thomas Law Review and a moot court board member and competitor.
In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Skiscim is also a member of The Florida Bar’s Professional Ethics Committee. The committee responds to ethics questions from attorneys authorized to practice in Florida and issues informal and formal advisory opinions applying and interpreting ethics rules.
Mr. Skiscim is admitted to practice law in Florida, New York, and Washington DC, as well as the United States District Courts for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida. He is also admitted to practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
