Michou Phenelus is an associate at Cole, Scott & Kissane, P.A. in the firm’s Orlando office. His practices area is focused on Personal Injury Protection (PIP).
Michou is originally from Gros Morne, Haiti and moved to the United States at an early age. He graduated from the University of Florida (Go Gators!) with a Bachelor of Art degree in Anthropology. Michou earned his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, Florida, where he also served on the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board and represented Stetson in Negotiations and Mediations competitions.
Prior to joining Cole, Scott & Kissane, Michou Phenelus worked as an Assistant Public Defender for the Ninth Judicial Circuit in Orange County, Florida, where he defended indigent clients charged with a wide variety of misdemeanors and felonies.
Michou is fluent in Haitian Creole.
