I obtained my Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Central Florida, majoring in Psychology with a minor in Crime, Law, and Deviance. I then obtained by Juris Doctorate degree from Stetson University College of Law in St. Petersburg, Florida. During my time at Stetson, I was a Stetson Ambassador, became involved in the Florida Association for Women Lawyers, Federal Bar Association, and the Goldburg-Cacciatore American Inn of Court. Upon graduation, I was awarded for my work as a Stetson Ambassador, as well as the William F. Blews Pro Bono Service Award for exceeding twice the amount of required pro bono hours for graduation.
During law school, I was a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Rex Barbas of the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit in the General Civil Division. I also worked as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Joseph Bulone of the Sixth Judicial Circuit in the Felony Criminal Division. During my last year at Stetson, I worked as a Certified Legal Intern at the Office of the State Attorney in the Sixth Judicial Circuit.
