Neel M. Joshi is an Associate Attorney in the firm’s Orlando office, where he practices in the areas of General Liability Defense and Intellectual Property.
Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Neel attended the University of Florida, where he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry, with a minor in African Studies. While at the University of Florida, Neel was a recipient of a Howard Hughes Medical Institute research grant, to study the effects of deep brain stimulation on Parkinson’s Disease patients. Neel went on to receive his Master of Science degree in Human Nutrition, where his thesis focused on the use of interventional after-school food education programs in East Harlem high schools. Neel then attended Florida A&M University College of Law, where he earned book awards for obtaining the highest grades in Patent Law, Trademark Law, and Antitrust Law.
Neel is also a registered Patent Attorney. Prior to joining Cole, Scott & Kissane, Neel worked for a small personal injury law firm. Neel is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts, and in front of the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
