Paris Glasgow-Colon

Associate

Paris Glasgow-Colón is an associate at Cole, Scott & Kissane’s Orlando office. Her area of practice is Civil litigation with a focus on the defense of personal injury, premise liability, and vehicle negligence.

Ms. Glasgow-Colón is originally from Inglewood, California and earned her Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. While at UNLV, Ms. Glasgow-Colón majored in Political Science and Spanish and studied abroad at the Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica, in Heredia Costa Rica.

Before attending law school, Ms. Glasgow-Colón joined Teach for America, a nonprofit organization committed to developing and strengthening the learning potential of the youth in underserved communities across the United States. Ms. Glasgow-Colón is a Certified Georgia Teacher, and taught Spanish 1, to grades 6 through12 in Atlanta, Georgia. In her classroom, Paris was committed to dismantling stereotypes about the difficulties of learning another language through fun activities and culturally relevant pedagogy.

Ms. Glasgow-Colón’s legal career began at Barry University School of law in Orlando Florida. While attending Barry, Ms. Glasgow-Colón accomplished over 50 probono hours of service with the non-citizen community as a Parole Volunteer with the Southern Poverty Law Center’s Southeastern Immigrant Freedom Initiative division. She was also the Vice President of the Immigration Law Society, and a Certified Legal Intern in Barry’s Immigration Clinic for two semesters.

Before she joined the CSK team, she practiced in Plaintiff’s Personal Injury with a focus on Auto Accidents and Slip and Falls, and in Immigration Law, with a focus on Non-immigrant and Immigrant Visas, as well as Deportation and Removal Defense. When Ms. Glasgow-Colón is not advocating diligently on behalf of her clients, she enjoys going to theme parks, and spending time with her fur babies, Santiago and Catalina.
