Overview

Overview

Ryan S. Kelly II is an associate in the firm's West Palm Beach office. He practices in the areas of commercial litigation, intellectual property, and condominium and homeowner's association law.

Mr. Kelly received his undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature along with a minor in Writing & Rhetoric. After that, he received his Juris Doctor from the Maurer School of Law at Indiana University in Bloomington.

While he was an undergraduate, Mr. Kelly built his reputation on his writing ability as a tutor in the university writing center and as an officer in student government: first on the judicial council and then in the student body president's executive cabinet as the attorney general. During law school he would reprise his role assisting students with their written work when he was selected to be in Maurer's inaugural group of Dean's Writing Fellows. Concurrently, he was an editor on the law review as well as, periodically, a research assistant to various professors. He also received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Trademarks and Unfair Competition.

Prior to joining CSK, Mr. Kelly became thoroughly acquainted with the choreography of civil litigation defending PIP policies at one of the country's largest auto insurers before moving on to a global branding agency, where he performed trademark clearance searches and advised dozens of small, midsized, and large pharmaceutical companies seeking the most distinguishable brand and generic names for their products.
