Sally L. Slaybaugh is a partner in the firm’s Tampa office. She is a trial attorney who practices in the areas of nursing home and health care litigation, medical and professional malpractice defense, HIPAA, cyber liability claims, commercial litigation, premises liability, pharmaceutical and medical device litigation, catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases. Mrs. Slaybaugh is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Florida, all courts within the State of Florida and the Florida Division of Administrative Hearings.
Mrs. Slaybaugh earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Florida State University in 1997 and a Juris Doctor from the University of Florida, College of Law in 2000. Honors and distinctions she received while in law school include the Eighth Judicial Circuit Civil Clerkship Award, American Jurisprudence Book Awards in family law and corporations and she held the Vice President position for Phi Alpha Delta Legal Society.
Mrs. Slaybaugh is a member of the Florida Bar, Pinellas County Bar Association, Hillsborough County Bar Association, Florida Defense Lawyers Association and Florida Association of Women Lawyers, Hillsborough chapter.
Mrs. Slaybaugh is an experienced lecturer at seminars and in-house training programs, having spoken on topics related to long-term health care risk management, medical and professional malpractice, civil procedure and general civil litigation topics.
