Overview

Sean M. Sabogal is a Associate in the firm's Fort Lauderdale East office. As a civil litigator, he focuses his practice in various legal fields, including first party property insurance defense, products liability, negligence disputes, motor vehicle and trucking accident injuries, and residential and commercial property litigation.

Mr. Sabogal was born and raised in Miami, FL. He received his Bachelor of Science degrees in both Sociology and Political Science from Florida State University. Thereafter, he graduated from the Florida International University College of Law, cum laude. During his time in law school, Mr. Sabogal made several appearances on the Dean's List. He was also an active member in both FIU Law's Moot Court Board of Appellate Advocacy and the FIU Law Review. He also participated in the law school's Small Business Clinic working with real South Florida local businesses. Moreover, Mr. Sabogal was awarded the CALI Book Award for receiving the highest grade in his second semester legal writing class, Legal Skills and Values II, where he completed an appellate brief.

Prior to practicing law, Mr. Sabogal gained experience as a Law Clerk in various legal fields such as business transactional law, corporate litigation, child dependency and civil cases, bankruptcy, and family law. He also gained valuable legal experience as a Law Clerk for the firm's First Party Property Group, following his second year of law school, and including his entire third year of law school.
