Tyler J. Canfield is an associate in the firm’s Miami office. Mr. Canfield primarily focuses his practice on Commercial Trucking and Premises Liability.

Mr. Canfield was born and raised in Long Island, New York. During his undergraduate studies at California State University, Fullerton, he was a member of the Young Politicians Society. While in college, he was a legal intern in Brea, California, where he helped manage a small law practice, and assisted with his mentor’s campaign for Orange County District Attorney.

After graduating from California State University, Fullerton, Mr. Canfield returned to New York and began working as a full-time paralegal at a large Workers’ Compensation law firm representing injured workers.

During law school, Mr. Canfield moved to Miami, Florida, where he worked as a law clerk for a boutique law firm representing plaintiffs in personal injury actions.

In his final year of law school, Mr. Canfield returned to New York and worked as a litigation assistant for his father’s law group, where he participated in multiple homicide trials representing criminal defendants in Manhattan, New York.

In his free time, Mr. Canfield enjoys playing golf and sailing on Biscayne Bay.
