Paralegal – Insurance Defense

Location : Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Cole, Scott & Kissane, P.A., Florida’s largest law firm, is seeking for experienced paralegals to join our Fort Lauderdale East Office.

**Only candidates with the required experience, certification & education will be considered**

Candidates must possess one of the following: (1) Designation as a Florida Registered Paralegal (FRP); (2) Certification as a NALA Certified Paralegal (CP); or, (3) Degree in Paralegal Studies from a U.S. accredited school.

All candidates must have at least three years of recent experience working for an insurance defense firm. This position requires a driven and organized individual that is able to excel in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, ATO (Formerly Client Profiles), iManage and/or other document management software is required. Experienced with E-Filing, time entry, billing, calendaring and all other essential paralegal skills. You must be familiar with capturing, entering and billing your time in accordance with client guidelines and comply with the firm’s monthly minimum billing requirement.
