Tampa Partner, Paydon Broeder and Associate, Robert Deluca, secured a complete defense verdict in Hillsborough County involving a cast-iron pipe leak. Plaintiff claimed the leak caused damage requiring the complete remodel of the home, including trenching in order to fix the pipes.
The jury decided that Plaintiff failed to meet their initial burden of proving a direct physical loss during the policy period.
