Defense Verdict – Cast Iron Pipe Matter – Hillsborough County

Tampa Partners Lauren Kilgore and Paydon Broeder obtained a complete defense verdict in a cast iron pipe case.

Plaintiff argued that they were entitled to tear out and replace the entire cast iron system and their insurance company should have to pay $60,000 for the same along with attorney’s fees and costs.

Defense presented a plumber and contractor to show that the tear was not necessary and other options existed. The jury was in favor of the Defendant’s presentation of evidence and determined the contractor was not liable.
