West Palm Beach Partner, Nicole Wall, obtained a summary judgment in a case filed by a former professor of a university for discrimination and retaliation. The plaintiff claimed that she was terminated because of her race and her alleged complaints of race discrimination. Nicole successfully argued that the plaintiff was discharged solely as a result of poor job performance, and that although she complained about mistreatment by her supervisor (the alleged discriminator), such complaints were not based on her race.
