Bonita Springs Partner, Barbara Woodcock, recently obtained a favorable arbitration award in front of the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation’s Division of Florida Condominiums, Timeshares, and Mobile Homes. Petitioners alleged the condominium association and master association failed to follow their governing documents in obtaining approval for the installation of a new walkway. After a lengthy two day evidentiary hearing, the Arbitrator found the condominium association properly obtained membership approval for the installation of the new walkway and properly submitted for approval to the master association. The Arbitrator further found the master association properly approved the installation of the walkway.
