Plaintiff’s vehicle was rear-ended by our client, who admitted liability for the accident. Plaintiff underwent medical treatment for her neck and back, which included a cervical fusion. Plaintiff’s treatment continued for three years until the time of trial. Plaintiff boarded over $145,000 in past medical expenses and asked for over $1.6 million during closing argument.
After deliberating for less than an hour, the jury returned a complete defense verdict finding that the Defendants’ negligence was not a legal cause of Plaintiff’s alleged injuries.
