Dismissal in Premises Liability Case in Orange County

Orlando Managing Partner Michele Morales, Orlando Associate Christin Swanepoel Stevens, and Tampa Partner Carlos Morales recently secured a case dismissal in Orange County for a premises liability case.

The Plaintiff had sustained an eye injury caused by a clothing tag at a national retailer. The case, which involved a Products Claim against our client, was litigated for three years. Throughout this period, the plaintiff rejected several reasonable and generous settlement offers, maintaining very high demands.

As the trial date approached, the Plaintiff's Counsel withdrew all offers, signaling a more reasonable stance. At this critical juncture, Mr. Morales was brought in to lead the trial efforts. His strategic and resolute approach proved instrumental, as the Plaintiff voluntarily dismissed the case on the Friday before trial. As a result, our client did not pay any compensation.

This case exemplifies the dedication and expertise of our legal team in achieving favorable outcomes for our clients.
