Orlando Partner, Michele Morales, and Jacksonville Partner, Trevor Hawes, on obtained a complete defense verdict in Duval County in a premises case. The 36-year-old Plaintiff claimed he suffered a brachial plexus injury due to falling merchandise dropped by an employee. As a result, Plaintiff claimed complete loss of his left arm and sought $4.5M in damages including $1.6M in lost wages. The jury deliberated for a little over an hour to return a complete defense verdict. Notably, Stephanie McCoy & Amber Hraha were a critical part of the team which led to this victory for our client.
