Jacksonville Partner, Jennifer Kass, received a favorable result after a five day jury trial in Duval County. Prior to trial, the Defendant admitted fault for the three car rear-end collision. Plaintiff was in the middle vehicle and alleged neck and back injury. Plaintiff had over 200 trigger point injections and nerve blocks coupled with separate pain management spinal injections. Plaintiff alleged a lifetime of pain management treatments in the form of medial branch blocks, radio frequency ablations, and continued trigger point injections to the cervical spine. Plaintiff requested past medicals, $545,000 in future care; $200,000.00 for past pain and suffering; and $499,000.00 in future pain and suffering. The jury awarded only $81,135.03 in past medical expenses and rejected the need for future care and permanency.
