CSK Miami Partner Cody German and Associate Nicholas Nash obtained final summary judgment in favor of one of the nation’s largest accounting firms.
The case involved claims of malicious prosecution with respect to the accounting firm’s collection efforts and related litigation for unpaid accounting invoices. The Court ruled in favor CSK’s client and found that the accounting firm had a good faith basis in pursuing the prior litigation. Now, CSK’s client has a legal fee claim against the plaintiff as the prevailing party.
