CSK’s Fort Lauderdale West Managing Partner, Colonel (Ret) Kip O. Lassner, recently received the Distinguished Alumni Award from the United States Army War College. Mr. Lassner, along with three other individuals, was honored with this award, which recognizes outstanding graduates of the Army War College who continue to engage in exemplary service to others in their civilian lives and careers. Mr. Lassner graduated from the Army War College seven years ago, making him the only officer to receive this award within twenty years of graduation. It is a remarkable achievement.
During the presentation of the award, Mr. Lassner’s many accomplishments were presented to the assembled officers, including that:
He has been recognized by the Employee Support to Guard and Reserves Organization with numerous awards, including the Patriot Award and Seven Seals Award.
He helped to create one of the largest Veterans Day events in Florida, which is held annually in conjunction with the city of Weston and the YMCA and raises significant funds for military personnel support.
Through his efforts, CSK has been recognized as one of only a few Florida law firms involved in the Governor’s G.I. LAW initiative, which provides pro bono legal services to current service members and veterans.
He established the SPC Matthew Prestidge Scholarship Fund, benefiting veterans and current service members attending South Florida State College.
We offer our sincerest congratulations to Mr. Lassner, and hope that you will help us in celebrating this monumental achievement!
