Partners Barry Postman and Ron Campbell obtained a defense verdict in a medical malpractice jury trial in Collier County, Florida.
Plaintiff alleged that Defendant, a gastroenterologist, caused him permanent injuries, including cognitive deficits, from pancreatitis that resulted from Defendant’s performance of an endoscopic procedure. Defendant argued that his care and treatment of Plaintiff complied with the standard of care and that pancreatitis is a known complication.
The jury agreed, returning a complete defense verdict.
