Orlando Associate Connor Jenkins prevailed on a Motion for Summary Judgment against a major Plaintiff firm in a slip/trip and fall case in Volusia County.
Ms. Jenkins prepared and argued the motion in front of the judge. Plaintiff alleged he tripped and fell over a rug in front of the elevator entrance. He claimed the property was negligent in not warning residents of the danger of the rug.
The Plaintiff produced no evidence that the rug on the floor where he alleges to have fallen presented a dangerous condition, and certainly not a concealed danger.
