Tampa Associate Kaitlyn Harrison and Partner Krysta Torok obtained a Motion for Summary Judgment for a homeowner who had an independent contractor fall and sustain severe internal injuries and broken bones. The medical bills exceeded $200,000. We argued that the homeowner only owed the contractor the duty of warning of a condition that the contractor could not perceive with a reasonable inspection and that we were actually aware. This was Ms. Harrison’s first summary judgment motion and hearing.
