Nicole Wall recently obtained summary judgment in a case filed by a former admissions counselor of a university for alleged disability discrimination.
The plaintiff claimed that she was terminated upon her return to work after having been hospitalized for days, because of a mental disability she possessed. Nicole successfully argued that the plaintiff was fired solely as a result of her misrepresenting time she worked, seeking to be paid for the days she was in the hospital and therefore did not work (allegedly because she was confused), and arguing with her supervisor about it.
