Tampa Partner Dan Shapiro and Associate Sasha Pandolfo recently received a very good result in a low-speed motor vehicle accident case.
The case involved a Plaintiff with no reported history of back or neck problems who incurred over $50,000 in medical expenses, allegedly arising from the accident. Plaintiff asked for over $2.5 million in closing.
The defense relied on accident photos which did not appear to reveal significant damage on either vehicle, as well as the fact that the Plaintiff did not report symptoms until nearly two weeks after the accident.
The Jury deliberated for over 8 hours and, with setoff, the verdict was less than $50K. Congratulations to Sasha on her first trial!
