Overview
Overview
Many of our firm’s attorneys are experienced federal practitioners. Given the typical complexity of federal claims, federal practice is based significantly on the ability to communicate effectively and persuasively in writing, and our lawyers meet that demand. The firm’s attorneys represent clients in complex common law and statutory claims typically brought in federal court. These claims include issues related to ADA, civil rights, Fair Housing Act, racial and sex discrimination, Fair Labor Standards Act, ERISA, Federal Trade Commission Act consumer related actions (such as warranty policies and franchising), and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. The firm has defended clients in numerous class action suits, some of which involved securities fraud, community association contract disputes and housing discrimination disputes. Class action cases require extensive litigation management skills because of their typical size and document-intensive nature. We have, and continue to, efficiently and effectively addressed these matters.
