Overview

CSK has a long-history of assisting state, county and local governments with legislative, transactional and litigation issues. Our team of lawyers has provided strategic government affairs advice, including assisting with drafting legislation and serving as special bond finance counsel.  CSK lawyers are also very active in  defending these entities in a wide-variety of cases including redistricting, bond related litigation defense, securities violations defense, public funding, class actions, homeless issues, ad valorem taxation, municipal fees, section 1983 actions, negligence actions, actions under the police officers bill of rights, and meaningful regulatory issues.
