Overview

CSK represents retailers, convenience stores, restaurants, and bars in defense of dram shop claims. While the foregoing ordinarily have immunity with respect to alcohol sales, certain circumstances allow for one to pierce immunity such as underage sales and sales to habitual drunkards, among other things.  We advise our clients in defense of those claims and assist in prevention of future incidents.  We also have experience in representing beverage manufacturers involved in combining high alcohol content with caffeine in their products.  Further, our business transactions group has significant experience in representing beverage distributors of all kinds, including beer, wine, and alcohol distribution.
