Overview

The Federal Government’s 2007 Amendment to the Medicare Secondary Payer Act created numerous new and continually evolving responsibilities for many facets of the insurance industry,  most notably including  an obligation to report data to the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services and to protect Medicare’s interests when resolving claims involving Medicare beneficiaries.
