Lawyers in the firm have extensive experience in municipal bond matters. Key members of the firm’s municipal financing team are Richard P. Cole (the Firm’s Managing Partner), Tom Scott (former U.S. Attorney and Federal District Judge for the Southern District of Florida), and Paul A. Lester, who is Of Counsel to the Firm. Such matters include serving as counsel on private manufacturing and distribution projects, hospitals, adult congregate living and nursing home facilities, and a variety of low income and other bond financed housing projects. These complex projects involve a variety of parties, including municipalities, County bond issuing agencies, and Florida State bond issuing agencies, as well as lenders, federal government agencies such as FannieMae and FreddieMac, and trustees, developers, and privately held corporate businesses.
