Asma Patel

Asma Patel is an associate in the firm’s Orlando office. Her areas of practice include aspects of insurance and general liability defense including premises liability, automobile liability, product liability, security negligence, wrongful death, catastrophic personal injury, and trucking accident defense.

Ms. Patel obtained her Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies, magna cum laude and Bachelor of Science in Psychology, cum laude from the University of Central Florida. She then earned her Juris Doctorate from Florida International University College of Law as a Dean’s Merit Scholar.

During her time in law school, Ms. Patel was a Florida Bar Foundation Fellow gaining experience as a Guardian ad litem fellow while also volunteering her time as a domestic abuse victim advocate. She also competed as a member of the schools Negotiation & Mediation team and served as a student ambassador.

Prior to working with Cole, Scott & Kissane, P.A., Ms. Patel worked on unemployment compensation, social security disability, and social security income matters.
