Brooke Newsome

Brooke Knabb Newsome is an associate in Cole, Scott & Kissane’s Jacksonville office. Her practice focuses on first party property and insurance coverage matters.

Ms. Newsome grew up in Jacksonville, Florida and attended the Bolles School. Ms. Newsome attended the University of Alabama where she earned a bachelors degree in history with a minor in biology.

Ms. Newsome attended law school as a Vicennial Scholar at Florida Coastal School of Law and obtained her juris doctorate degree. While in law school, Ms. Newsome served as a legislator of the Student Bar Association. Ms. Newsome also served as the Secretary of the Christian Legal Society and was on the executive board of the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund. While completing her last year of law school Ms. Newsome clerked for the Honorable Judge Wallace in Duval County.

Ms. Newsome is currently a member of the Florida Bar Association.
