Dean Meyers is a partner with the firm’s Ft. Lauderdale West office. Mr. Meyers focuses his practice on environmental and various areas of construction law, including representation of developers, contractors, and subcontractors in construction related disputes, as well as representation of design professionals in professional liability claims.
Prior to turning to the practice of law, Mr. Meyers was a professional in the engineering construction, and regulatory industry for 10 years. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of Florida in 2002 and went to work with a national environmental engineering consulting firm, where Mr. Meyers managed water resource design and construction projects. Mr. Meyers gained significant construction experience in water and wastewater treatment process renovations, pipeline installation and road construction, and mechanical and electrical system startup and optimization.
Mr. Meyers earned a Juris Doctorate from St. Thomas University School of Law in 2014. He is admitted to practice in Florida and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
