Overview
Deirdre Mullane is an Associate Attorney in the firm's Orlando office. She focuses her practice primarily on employment law representing employers in employment related matters such as discrimination, retaliation, and other employment law claims under various state and federal laws.
Deirdre attended the University of San Francisco, where she graduated cum laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology with an emphasis on criminology, law, and society, as well as a minor in Legal Studies. She went on to earn a Master's degree from Loyola University Chicago's Institute of Pastoral Studies. Following several years working in marketing for an independent publishing house in Chicago, Deirdre attended American University's Washington College of Law, where she graduated magna cum laude with her Juris Doctor and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. While attending law school, Deirdre was a Dean's Fellow for the Legal Research and Writing program and served as the Labor & Employment Law Society's president.
Prior to joining Cole, Scott & Kissane, Deirdre was a Senior Law Clerk at an employment law firm in Washington, D.C. where she gained experience assisting on a wide range of employment matters including discrimination, whistle blower protection, retaliation, and qui tam cases brought under the False Claims Act.
