Gladis E. Guardado is an associate attorney at our Fort Lauderdale West location, where she focuses her practice in personal injury protection and construction litigation.
Ms. Guardado graduated from Florida International University where she earned a bachelor's degree in Political Science with a minor in International Relations with cum laude honors. Ms. Guardado attended St. Thomas University College of Law where she obtained a Juris Doctorate degree with cum laude honors.
During her time in law school, she received several honors and distinctions including the "Book" award for receiving the highest grade in Business Associations and Pro Bono Commendation Certificate for her commitment to Pro Bono and Public Service. Ms. Guardado was on the Dean's List every semester and invited to join the St. Thomas Law Review where she served as Senior Articles Editor. She also acted as President of the Children and Family Law Society.
Ms. Guardado is committed to giving back to the legal community. Prior to joining law school, she advocated for the rights of children in the foster care system as Guardian Ad Liem for the 11th Circuit Court in Miami-Dade County. Additionally, she spent much of her time during law school as an Academic Success mentor, where she provided guidance and support to first year law students.
Ms. Guardado is admitted to practice law in Florida.
